Commercial Strategy and Operations Manager

Location: Remote within the United States; corporate roles are not hired in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Dakota, or Vermont. Virta is remote-first with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco.

Salary: $108,500–$140,500 per year, with equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Own Commercial Strategy and Operations processes, including operational reporting, OKR performance management, forecasting, and planning.
• Translate Commercial goals into projects, priorities, and operating plans that create focus and accountability.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from scoping through implementation while managing risks, dependencies, decisions, and communication.
• Advise Commercial leaders by translating complex or ambiguous data into insights, business implications, and recommendations.
• Prepare executive- and Board-level materials covering performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Improve Commercial processes, systems, and reporting through scalable, data-driven operating practices.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm, investment bank, or internal strategy team.
• Experience independently leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Strong analytical skills, including structuring ambiguous problems and translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, business intelligence tools, and Salesforce.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States, subject to the listed state hiring restrictions.
