Senior Associate, Healthcare Insights

Location: Remote within the United States; Chicago preferred. Occasional travel required, approximately 0–10%, with proximity to an airport recommended.

What you will do

• Analyze health-system financial, operating, market, and organizational data to identify trends, relationships, and insights.
• Develop, test, and refine hypotheses related to health-system performance, market dynamics, peer comparisons, and industry trends.
• Lead analytical workstreams for the Insights Engine, including benchmarks, comparison groups, performance measures, and related analytical assets.
• Validate data elements, metrics, calculations, benchmarks, and analytical outputs for accuracy and relevance.
• Evaluate data quality, identify inconsistencies and anomalies, and improve the usability of data assets.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical summaries while collaborating with healthcare experts, technology partners, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare finance, financial planning, healthcare analytics, benchmarking, strategic planning, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health-system financial and operating performance, including financial statements, operational metrics, and performance indicators.
• Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem-solving, hypothesis development, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to assess data quality and communicate analytical findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Project management, collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; bachelor’s degree required.
• Must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require employment visa sponsorship.
