Senior Business Analytics Consultant (Fintech)

Location: In-office role based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Dallas, TX; or Birmingham, AL

Base salary: $60,000–$150,000 annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Analyze application data, business processes, and system functionality to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Create user stories, business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and validate software testing, including defect tracking and resolution.
• Manage ServiceNow change records and coordinate application release activities and production deployments.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and deep-dive sessions to identify solutions and resolve production issues.
• Develop analytical solutions, interpret results, and communicate recommendations to business partners and senior management.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, business analytics, project coordination, or a related role; roles at this level typically require a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira for requirements management, user stories, defect tracking, and project coordination.
• Hands-on experience with software test planning, execution, defect management, and validation.
• Knowledge of change management processes and experience managing change records in ServiceNow.
• Ability to work in an in-office setting at one of the listed United States locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with application releases and production support.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and analytical solution development.
