M&A Digital Product Business Analyst (Banking)

hirify.global’s Wilmington Trust Institutional Services division is growing its digital trust and agency service products through a strategic transformation program.

What you will do

• Support the product vision and roadmap for M&A deal administration capabilities and related client- and employee-facing tools.
• Translate business needs and operational pain points into features, user stories, business rules, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Document current- and future-state processes, data lineage, workflows, and system-of-record requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, feature decomposition, delivery readiness, and backlog management.
• Define test scenarios, test data, expected results, and evidence requirements for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Partner with product, technology, quality engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to validate solutions and triage production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of related business-line experience, or a combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or work experience.
• Working knowledge of financial services, banking, corporate trust, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience documenting business, functional, reporting, and data requirements; business rules; process flows; acceptance criteria; and testable outcomes.
• Agile delivery experience, including backlog refinement, story decomposition, sprint planning support, and backlog management in Jira or a similar tool.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking and experience with user-centered discovery and solution validation.

Nice to have

• Business analysis experience with M&A, client-facing applications, document management, or payment processing.
• Agile, product, or business analysis certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
