Regional Sales Manager (Packaging Machinery)

Location: US GA, Remote; frequent travel of approximately 50% is required.

Base salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year, plus commission potential of $15,000+.

What you will do

• Identify new business opportunities through research, outreach, networking, customer visits, and industry events.
• Build relationships with distributors and end users, assess needs, and propose customized packaging solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals and close business against sales targets.
• Guide customers through the design, installation, and setup of transverse jaws for packaging machines.
• Troubleshoot sealing issues and collaborate with engineering on product modifications and design approvals.
• Coordinate customer feedback, logistics, customs, documentation, invoicing, shipping, and delivery requirements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in technical support, maintenance, or packaging machinery-related roles.
• Solid understanding of packaging machine components and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and accurately measure and document mechanical components.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is an asset.
• Comfort with frequent travel of approximately 50%.
