Project Manager 3 (IT Software and Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid in Lansing, Michigan; onsite from day one two days per week. Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI. Remote-only work is not available. Candidates must also be available for an in-person second-round interview.

Salary: $70–$75 per hour. Other listed rates include $60–$65, $90–$100, $60–$65, and $35–$40 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage IT software or infrastructure projects involving teams of 50 or more members.
• Lead Agile project delivery and coordinate project stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Oversee vendor relationships and vendor performance.
• Write or contribute to Statements of Work, Requests for Proposal, and contracts.
• Provide project leadership and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience managing IT software or infrastructure projects.
• Advanced experience managing Agile projects, scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Advanced vendor-management experience.
• Experience writing or contributing to SOWs, RFPs, or contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Local availability within 90 miles of Lansing, MI and ability to work onsite two days per week from day one.

Nice to have

• PMP certification; a copy of the certificate must be submitted if held.
