Business Controller - Crane Service

Location: Burlington, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 112,000–125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Prepare financial statements, reports, audits, and consolidated operating statements.
• Analyze the financial status of the business and develop recommendations for future plans, objectives, and policies.
• Prepare and administer operating budgets and controls.
• Evaluate and implement programs that reduce costs, improve controls, simplify work, and optimize equipment utilization.
• Advise management on financial data, business and economic implications, procedures, projects, employee relations, and compensation matters.
• Manage working capital, support customer collections, and mentor junior accounting team members.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of progressive experience in preparatory accounting, financial analysis, or controller positions in a service environment.
• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Experience with SAP, Siebel, or a large ERP system is strongly preferred.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Expected travel of 5%–10%.
