Manager - Project Management III (Aerospace)

Location: Greater Seattle Area; on-site role requiring physical presence with the hardware and team

Base pay for Washington applicants: $112,059.00–$156,882.60 per year. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Own integrated schedules for custom precision machine builds, fleet sustainment, and retrofit campaigns.
• Identify and manage critical paths, risks, milestones, resource constraints, and schedule recovery plans.
• Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, controls, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, facilities, and production control.
• Coordinate machine build, commissioning, qualification, production release, and retrofit activities while minimizing production disruption.
• Manage long-lead procurement planning, scope changes, requirements verification, program metrics, and configuration records.
• Provide clear status reporting to engineering and program leadership, including early escalation of issues and recovery recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, supply chain, or a related technical or program discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of program or project management experience delivering complex hardware such as capital equipment, industrial machinery, automation systems, or aerospace hardware.
• Experience building and maintaining integrated schedules, managing critical paths, and driving recovery for delayed programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through influence, managing risks, and communicating candidly with engineers and senior leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling tools, plus sufficient technical fluency to work with mechanical, controls, and manufacturing engineers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience with production machines, capital equipment, first-of-a-kind development, commissioning, qualification, or retrofit campaigns.
• Experience with long-lead procurement, ERP/MRP, PLM, PMP or PMI-SP certification, Lean, Agile, 5S, or continuous improvement.
• Experience in aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, or other regulated or high-precision manufacturing environments.
