Manufacturing Strategic Project Manager- Capital Projects (Manufacturing)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, USA; hybrid role with 3 days per week in the Alpharetta office. Travel is required 40–60% depending on project activity.

Salary: $109,400–$258,500 per year, depending on the U.S. pay zone and work location.

What you will do

• Lead medium- to large-sized capital projects and programs at manufacturing sites, including technology upgrades, product improvements, line extensions, and new infrastructure.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across packaging, process, electrical, and instrumentation engineering, including internal employees and external technical resources.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, expenditures, resources, vendors, risks, and monthly reporting.
• Deliver integrated human, operational, and technical systems that meet startup, safety, reliability, and business targets.
• Lead Community of Practice strategy, objectives, KPIs, change management, standards, training, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage application backlogs and SAP-related solution delivery, including user stories, testing, showcases, acceptance criteria, documentation, adoption, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in civil, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering and manufacturing operations management.
• 5+ years leading capital projects with increasing complexity, scale, and budgets.
• 2+ years of people management experience, including selection, development, coaching, and career planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or SAP Fiori.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with 3 days in the Alpharetta office and travel 40–60%.
