UX Designer (Healthcare)

Base salary: $123,500–$185,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and iterate consumer-oriented features that simplify complex health data, encourage engagement, and support behavior change.
• Translate user research and analytics into scalable design frameworks and service blueprints.
• Lead project workstreams from discovery through detailed execution.
• Turn clinical and technical requirements into intuitive, accessible, and visually refined interfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, behavioral scientists, content strategists, and clinicians.

Requirements

• Outstanding portfolio covering the end-to-end UX design process; a resume and portfolio must be submitted in PDF format or as a password-protected website.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, plus 3+ years of professional UX experience.
• Ability to independently define product or feature strategy by connecting user needs with product requirements.
• Proficiency in Figma and strong knowledge of accessible, responsive web and mobile application design.
• Must be able to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Consumer UI or product design experience, including scalable design systems and data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience with AI prototyping tools such as Claude or Cursor.
• Experience in service design, behavioral science, healthcare program design, or clinical research.
• Background in healthcare, medical services, or regulated consumer products.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills for explaining technical processes and objectives.
