Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker - Southeast Region (Healthcare)

Location: Burlington and Durham, North Carolina, United States; event-based work at locations throughout the Southeast region

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture blood draws, fingerstick blood collection, blood pressure checks, BMI and body fat analysis.
• Conduct COVID-19 PCR testing, point-of-care antigen testing, and temperature checks.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and accurately record participant information and screening results.
• Set up, execute, and break down wellness events while providing customer service and protecting participant privacy.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

• Venipuncture applicants must hold medical credentials such as CPT, RN, or LPN, have at least one year of venipuncture experience, and have completed at least 100 successful blood draws in the last six months.
• Biometric Screener applicants need at least one year of healthcare experience and proficiency with fingerstick blood collection and blood pressure measurement; medical certification or licensure is required in some states.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA, basic tablet and computer skills, and strong customer service abilities are required.
• Reliable transportation is required for event-based assignments.
• A criminal background check and minimum age of 18 are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 15 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cholestech LDX.
• Medical credentials such as CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, or LPN for Biometric Screener assignments.
