Hospital Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; additional listed locations include Bartlesville and Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. On-site work with travel to additional sites when needed.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide patient-facing customer service and complete administrative duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, an accredited training program, or at least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
• Ability to work overtime and pass a standardized color blindness test.
