Phlebotomist - Part-Time - In Patient

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States of America; onsite hospital/inpatient work

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide patient customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites and cross-train at the Main and Saints campuses when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited training program, or at least six months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven customer-service record.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, flexibility to work overtime, and ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Work schedule: varied Monday–Friday days, 8 hours per week, first shift, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Nice to have

• At least one year of inpatient phlebotomy experience.
• Current or previous hirify.global experience.
