Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist-Per Diem In-Home Services (Phlebotomy)

Location: Philadelphia, PA and various U.S. locations; in-home patient visits with travel of up to 100 miles

Salary: $25 per hour; a two-hour minimum is paid, including appointment and travel time. IRS-standard mileage reimbursement is provided.

What you will do

• Provide in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, transport, and delivery to designated laboratories.
• Perform trained diagnostic screenings, including EKGs and macular edema examinations.
• Follow laboratory safety, specimen handling, and regulatory procedures.
• Maintain clinical supplies, transportation, and work areas in an organized condition.
• Complete visit documentation, mileage records, and time logs accurately and promptly.
• Report adverse events, medical product complaints, and patient inquiries according to applicable guidance.

Requirements

• At least two years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and clinical documentation practices.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Washington or Louisiana residents must hold a state-issued CMA or CPT license.

Nice to have

• At least one year of EKG experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Technician certification.
