Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist – Per Diem, In-Home Services

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, and various U.S. locations; local travel within the designated geographic area and travel of up to 100 miles to patient visits are required.

Salary: $25.00 per hour, including appointment and travel time; a two-hour minimum is paid.

What you will do

• Provide in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, transportation, and delivery to designated laboratories.
• Perform trained clinical screenings, including EKGs and macular edema examinations.
• Follow laboratory safety, specimen handling, and regulatory procedures.
• Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, transportation areas, mileage records, and time logs.
• Complete visit-related paperwork and collaborate with the clinical coordination team.
• Report adverse events, medical product complaints, and patient inquiries according to applicable guidance.

Requirements

• At least two years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or field setting.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and accurate clinical documentation.
• A state-issued CMA or CPT license is required for candidates located in Washington or Louisiana.

Nice to have

• At least one year of EKG experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Technician certification.
