Technician Mechanical II (HVACR)

What you will do

• Assemble, test, and evaluate compressors and related hardware for existing and newly developed HVACR products.
• Fabricate fixtures, hardware, compressors, and controls for non-standard assembly iterations and product tests.
• Use hand tools, power tools, cutting, welding, soldering, and brazing equipment.
• Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, mechanical equipment, machines, and measuring devices.
• Document and review assembly, inspection, and test results while communicating project updates.
• Support laboratory upkeep and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 2–3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in mechanical, HVAC/R, electrical, or manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Troubleshooting, critical-thinking, communication, computer, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to perform general mathematical calculations using English or metric units.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
