Sr. HVAC Technician

Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; field-based work at customer locations

Hourly base pay: $21.71–$65.12

What you will do

• Test, program, start up, commission, service, and maintain assigned HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC units and systems at commercial customer locations.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and coordinate requirements with customers, team leaders, and project managers.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and record the use, condition, and wear of company assets.
• Mentor team members and work overtime or occasional overnight stays when business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or an accredited technical school certificate.
• Typically, at least 10 years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
• Work is conducted on-site at customer locations in a field-based role.
• Safety-sensitive position that may require additional drug screening.

Nice to have

• Technical school or formal HVAC training.
• EPA certification, such as HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer certification.
