Engineering Technician II (HVAC)

What you will do

• Conduct performance, reliability, and validation testing of products, components, and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues identified during testing.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data to support engineering decisions and product improvements.
• Assist with prototype assembly, test setup, instrumentation, calibration, and laboratory activities.
• Support engineering changes, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, HVAC Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering support, testing, manufacturing, laboratory operations, or a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems and testing methodologies.
• Ability to use testing equipment, diagnostic instruments, and hand tools and to interpret technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, data analysis, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work onsite in laboratory and manufacturing environments, including frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and work around mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Experience in HVAC, manufacturing, product testing, or industrial environments.
