People & Culture Leader (Insurance Software & BPS)

Location: Based in Charleston, South Carolina, with a hybrid work environment; candidates may be located across Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.

Salary: $139,200–$289,000 annually

What you will do

• Define and own the global People & Culture strategy and roadmap for the Insurance Software and BPS business.
• Advise the business president and senior leaders on organizational design, workforce strategy, succession, leadership effectiveness, and change.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, compensation, employee relations, retention, and engagement programs.
• Plan capabilities and workforce needs across software engineering, insurance, BPS operations, and offshore delivery teams.
• Lead organizational change, restructuring, and people-related integration and M&A activities.
• Use people analytics to track organizational health and demonstrate measurable business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Senior-level HR Business Partner experience in a global technology- and services-intensive environment.
• Experience supporting offshore or borderless delivery workforces, workforce planning, people costs, and compensation or incentive programs.
• Experience advising C-level executives and business-unit presidents on strategic, financial, and operating issues.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across cultures and geographies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in the Charleston, South Carolina area.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or HR certification such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP.
• Insurance, software, or BPS/BPO industry experience.
