Principal Customer Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $85,000–$146,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams in resolving and closing customer quality issues and related in-fab issues.
• Communicate quality task, project, and KPI status to customers, internal teams, and senior management.
• Lead quality meetings with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply, and fab teams across the organization.
• Establish standard work, continuous improvement activities, and quality KPIs.
• Coordinate customer audits and follow up on corrective action requests and internal audit closures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technology-related field.
• At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in process engineering, technology development, reliability, or process integration.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Fluency in written and verbal English is required.
• Strong communication, organization, presentation, technical writing, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing business needs.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a STEM-related field.
• Audit experience or familiarity with IATF16949 or VDA6.3 standards.
• Project management experience and the ability to execute solutions in ambiguous situations.
• Experience working effectively with diverse teams and clients.
