Sr. Principal Product Engineer (MEMS)

Salary: $136,200–$178,815 per year

What you will do

• Lead development of next-generation ceramic guide plate materials and technologies for MEMS-based vertical probe card products.
• Evaluate, characterize, and qualify ceramic materials and manufacturing processes, including prototype design and validation.
• Develop reliability and characterization plans covering mechanical, thermal, electrical, and lifetime performance.
• Support customer qualification, technical consultations, application challenges, and complex product performance issues.
• Drive improvements in product reliability, quality, manufacturability, yield, and overall performance through data-driven investigations.
• Provide technical leadership across Product Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Experience with semiconductor wafer testing, probe cards, MEMS structures, or advanced packaging.
• Experience with advanced ceramic materials and precision mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of reliability testing, qualification methodologies, product lifecycle management, and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or JMP, plus FEA and thermo-mechanical modeling using Ansys or SolidWorks Simulation.
• Ability to lead complex engineering programs, mentor engineers, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
