What you will do

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for final assembly, shipping, and sub-assembly operations involving complex mechanical systems.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, assembly methods, packaging standards, shipment preparation procedures, and related fixtures.
• Optimize manufacturing layouts, build cells, material flow, packaging processes, and shipping operations to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
• Maintain bills of material, product structures, and configuration data; coordinate engineering change orders with Design Engineering and Operations.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions for assembly, testing, packaging, transportation, shipment, and customer installation issues.
• Support packaging validation, supplier quality initiatives, customer-site audits, and continuous improvement projects; travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, lean principles, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to travel approximately 20–30%, including domestic and international travel.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and clean-room environments, including standing, lifting, working in tight spaces, and using required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, PTC Creo, Smartsheet, Tableau, or similar systems.
• Experience with packaging, transportation fixtures, material handling, supplier audits, or contract manufacturing.
