What you will do

• Provide enterprise Windows desktop support for Army mission areas.
• Build, configure, and administer physical, virtual, and zero-client desktop environments.
• Use enterprise tools including MCM, VMware Mirage, and VMware Horizon.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
• Maintain desktop configuration compliance with DoD and Army regulations, including DISA STIGs and IAVAs.
• Document troubleshooting work and participate in rotational after-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• Must hold an active Secret Clearance before starting.
• Must hold Security+ CE certification before hire.
• High school diploma plus two years of technical experience, an associate degree, or a bachelor's degree, including up to one year of hands-on Windows desktop administration.
• Experience administering Windows 10 and Windows 11, physical and VMware-based virtual desktops, and zero-client environments.
• Proficiency with Windows Active Directory, networking concepts, and batch or PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, and work overtime, holidays, or weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Microsoft MD-102 or higher, AZ-900 or higher, or CompTIA A+ certification; one of these must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Familiarity with HBSS, MCM, ACAS, Intune, and Azure.
• Prior military IT operations experience at Brigade level or higher.
• Attention to detail and composure under pressure.
