What you will do

• Lead studies evaluating student efficacy with AI tools and learning outcomes across STEM disciplines.
• Conduct qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research using zyBooks courseware.
• Publish research findings in high-quality conferences and journals.
• Use data analytics to improve content and platform effectiveness while reducing unnecessary student struggle.
• Collaborate with instructors, authors, and engineers on research studies and new product features.
• Develop early proofs of concept for tools that improve student learning and maintain quarterly research reports.

Requirements

• PhD in a STEM education field.
• Strong background in qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research.
• Demonstrated record of research papers and strong understanding of STEM education pedagogy.
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to undergraduate teaching innovation; highly motivated and organized.

Nice to have

• PhD in computer science or computer science education.
• Experience with AI.
• Teaching experience.
