Data Analyst III (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Analyze large-scale security event data, endpoint telemetry, threat intelligence feeds, and detection data to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging threats.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and metrics frameworks for security products.
• Translate complex security findings into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting workflows using SQL, Python, Logscale, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product, and engineering teams to improve data quality, integrity, accessibility, and operational use.
• Monitor cybersecurity trends, adversary behavior, and industry practices to support strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical domain.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Proficiency querying large and complex datasets, particularly graph databases, and experience with large-scale, high-velocity logs, streaming telemetry, or SIEM data.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation, plus data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
• Strong statistical analysis, quantitative reasoning, structured problem-solving, and communication skills, including presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Understanding of security concepts such as the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
