Director of Network Relations (Healthcare)

hirify.global operates fully insured commercial health plan markets and manages provider network strategy, contracting, and network adequacy.

What you will do

• Develop and refine provider network strategy, including geographic priorities, contracting targets, payment methodologies, and network composition.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage the Network Relations team while setting territory objectives.
• Negotiate strategically significant provider contracts and design value-based arrangements tied to quality and cost outcomes.
• Oversee network adequacy monitoring and SERFF filing activity, serving as the primary accountability point for regulators.
• Partner with Actuarial on fee schedule benchmarks and rate targets, and report network performance to the CMO and leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in managed care contracting, provider network development, or provider relations.
• 3+ years in a director-level role managing a network contracting team.
• Expertise negotiating multi-methodology contracts, including value-based and risk arrangements.
• Experience with SERFF and network adequacy compliance.

Nice to have

• MBA, graduate degree in Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field.
• Experience building a network function from inception at a growth-stage health plan.
• Experience in both health plan-side and provider-side contracting roles.
• Knowledge of the Texas commercial health insurance market and adequacy requirements.
