Location: Remote, based in the United States; candidates must reside in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, or Texas. The role includes frequent local travel for client meetings and occasional travel for team meetings and company events.
Base pay: $96,876–$127,149 per year in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington; $87,188–$114,434 per year in other locations.

What you will do
- Develop and execute national contracting strategies for large ancillary providers and multi-state health systems.
- Manage provider portfolios across prospecting, evaluation, negotiation, implementation, performance management, renewal, and termination.
- Prepare and negotiate complex provider agreements covering reimbursement, operations, data sharing, performance, and compliance.
- Coordinate implementation with Legal, Finance, Provider Operations, Claims, Credentialing, Configuration, Compliance, and Market teams.
- Build provider relationships, lead business reviews, resolve escalated issues, and coordinate corrective action plans.
- Analyze claims, utilization, reimbursement, market, and provider data to support negotiations and network performance improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in provider contracting, provider network management, healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience supporting provider network strategy and negotiating provider agreements.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder contracting work from analysis and negotiation through implementation and performance management.
- Experience building relationships with provider contracting and operational leaders and communicating recommendations internally.
- 1+ year of experience performing financial analysis for healthcare markets, provider contracts, or product lines.
- 1+ year of experience working with large datasets, including claims, utilization, fee schedules, contract inventories, and provider rosters.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience contracting with national ancillary providers, multi-state provider groups, or large health systems.
- Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies, contract language, claims data, network adequacy, and provider operations.
