Environmental, Health & Safety Professional

Location: Tampa, United States; onsite. Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

What you will do

• Create and update environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory and internal-policy compliance and report non-compliance.
• Collaborate with site management and business units to strengthen the safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in heavy manufacturing or aviation.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Knowledge of U.S. health and safety regulations, including lockout/tagout, fall protection, machine guarding, and powered industrial trucks.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments and communicate across organizational levels.
• Eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
