Auto Damage Appraisal Manager

Location: Remote

Base salary: $90,000–$100,000 annually; bonus and long-term incentive eligible

hirify.global provides cloud-based claims management, virtual vehicle appraisals, and loss and recovery services for property and casualty carriers, MGAs, MGUs, TPAs, and logistics companies.

What you will do

• Manage estimating team workloads and drive production, accuracy, and cycle-time goals.
• Monitor performance metrics, provide coaching, and hold team members accountable.
• Own file escalations and assist with resolution of complex claims issues.
• Conduct team meetings and one-on-one sessions focused on feedback, development, innovation, and problem-solving.
• Provide training and guidance to less-experienced estimators.
• Analyze operational data and identify methods to improve department performance and processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of auto physical damage experience, including 1 year of management experience.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance principles and their application to appraisal decisions.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair, parts costs, total loss classification, and fraud detection.
• Experience with one or more estimating platforms: Mitchell, CCC One, or Audatex.
• Ability to work in a remote, fast-paced, production-based environment managing claims for carriers across the US and Canada.
