Senior Excess Adjuster (Florida - Remote)

Location: Remote, Florida, United States; fully remote role for a Florida-based professional with an active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License.

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex, litigated, and high-exposure liability claims.
• Analyze coverage, liability, damages, applicable insurance, and claim reserves.
• Report claim activity to excess carriers and reinsurers and maintain accurate claim documentation and diary systems.
• Monitor TPA claim handling and make recommendations on reserving, litigation, and settlement.
• Resolve coverage issues between program entities and excess carriers and issue reimbursements above the Self-Insured Retention.
• Maintain compliance with client procedures, statutes, regulations, ethical requirements, licensing, and continuing education obligations.

Requirements

• Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License, 5-20 or 6-20, required.
• At least five years of liability claims and subrogation experience with a strong performance record.
• Experience with general liability, auto liability, complex liability, professional liability, and public entity claims.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, litigated, and high-severity claims.
• Knowledge of applicable statutes, accepted industry standards, and claims-handling practices.
• Strong communication, organization, customer service, computer, and claims software skills; ability to work independently.

• AIC, CPCU, or equivalent industry designation.
