Planner, Maintenance/Scheduler

Location: San Fernando, California, United States; onsite work in manufacturing, warehouse, and production environments

Salary: $71,000–$118,000 annual target base pay for California candidates; national target base pay range is $63,000–$105,000.

What you will do

• Plan, scope, and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, shutdown, and project maintenance work.
• Develop prioritized maintenance schedules based on labor availability, production needs, materials, and equipment access.
• Coordinate materials, purchasing, services, vendors, contractors, site access, and repair completion.
• Maintain CMMS work orders, job plans, equipment history, labor and material records, and closeout documentation.
• Track maintenance performance, costs, risks, audit requirements, and cGMP compliance.
• Support safety, quality, equipment reliability, maintenance productivity, and production goals.

Requirements

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance, engineering technology, mechanical technology, electrical technology, or a related technical field; equivalent training and experience may be considered.
• 4–6 years of related maintenance, reliability, maintenance planning, or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, job plans, labor estimation, material readiness, backlog management, and schedule coordination.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, parts, tools, technical documents, safe maintenance practices, and schematic diagrams.
• Proficiency with a computerized maintenance management system and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship and support are not available.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of experience coordinating planned maintenance, preventive maintenance, shutdown work, materials, vendors, contractors, or equipment repairs.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or MaintainX.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
