Manager II, Operations Management - 2nd Shift (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Onsite operations role on the 2nd shift with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $68,000.00–$93,500.00 per year

What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, final testing, and other production operations for capital equipment and related components.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle-time performance.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer, vendor, quality, and corrective-action requirements.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, performance management, goal setting, hiring, and career development.
• Optimize production capacity and drive Lean, safety, quality, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Understanding of procedures and concepts within the operations job family, with basic knowledge of related functions.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to manage safety training, Environmental Health and Safety compliance, and accident-prevention practices.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Compliance with hirify.global' Standards of Business Conduct is required.
