Software Engineer (Web3)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, United States

Salary: $205,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own projects from problem definition and design through launch, measurement, production operations, and on-call.
• Design versioned APIs with robust error handling, safe defaults, and backward compatibility.
• Build reliable data models and services for growing traffic and customer needs, with security for users, agents, and services.
• Develop user-facing features across the dashboard, CLI, and SDKs for developers and coding agents.
• Use activation, adoption, conversion, analytics, and developer feedback to guide product decisions.
• Write design documents, runbooks, and technical documentation while collaborating with Product, Billing, Security, Growth, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Experience building software across APIs, backend services, and user-facing developer tools.
• Ability to own delivery from scoping through production and handle on-call responsibilities.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Temporal, Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to build reliable, secure, observable, and scalable services.
• Blockchain experience is helpful but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer platforms, API products, cloud consoles, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, agent tools, or machine-readable documentation.
• Experience with billing, metering, pricing, workflow orchestration, caching, or analytical data systems.
• Experience with observability, incident response, performance optimization, blockchain products, x402, or agent identity standards.
• Open-source contributions, technical talks, or technical writing.
