Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in the New York City office

Salary: $160,000–$230,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build customer-facing product features, backend services, integrations, and internal tools that support company growth.
• Improve customer workflows across signup, onboarding, activation, renewals, and retention.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to identify and solve business problems.
• Own engineering projects end-to-end, from scoping through deployment and iteration.
• Instrument key workflows, define success metrics, run experiments, and measure business impact.
• Write reliable, maintainable code while balancing iteration speed with engineering quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience shipping production software.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with backend technologies including Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud services; AWS is preferred.
• Ability to connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes.
• Metrics-focused approach with ownership of projects from idea to production.
• Ability to work from the New York City office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building software for Sales or Marketing.
• Experience with onboarding, activation, retention, renewals, or expansion projects.
• Experience working in or with Growth functions.
