Product Operations Associate (FinTech)

Location: United States of America; hybrid in New York City with office attendance Tuesday through Thursday

Builds workflow and communication products for financial services as a well-funded, early-stage FinTech startup approaching product-market fit.

What you will do

• Digitize paper-based workflows and translate operational complexity into clean platform configurations.
• Map data and connect the platform with vendor and customer systems using complex logic.
• Identify process inefficiencies and test solutions that improve team execution.
• Translate customer-facing learnings into product improvements and collaborate with Product on tooling and automations.
• Own implementation playbooks, FAQs, and runbooks while supporting Solutions and Customer Success with implementations and escalated issues.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, product operations, or a similar execution-focused function.
• Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and align launch milestones.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with external partners and customers.
• Proficiency in Airtable, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
• Track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in an early-stage startup, FinTech, financial services, insurance, B2B SaaS, health tech, HR tech, or proptech.
• Experience at a company with fewer than 100 employees or at Series B or earlier.
• Experience founding a company or launching a product, including as a side project.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and automated workflows.
