File & Remit Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: United States; based in a San Francisco, New York City, or Salt Lake City hub, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week. San Francisco is strongly preferred.

hirify.global is a tax automation platform that connects billing and payment systems to automate tax monitoring, calculations, filing, and remittance across US jurisdictions and international markets.

What you will do

• Define and scale a filing platform capable of handling tax returns across jurisdictions with minimal human intervention.
• Put AI-powered agents at the center of filing automation to identify, prevent, and repair problems.
• Build remittance infrastructure for international sellers using local bank accounts and currencies.
• Own money movement from collecting seller funds to delivering payments to tax authorities through multiple currencies, banking partners, and jurisdictions.
• Develop tools for TaxOps and improve filing accuracy, timeliness, cost per filing, and amendment rates.
• Identify future product opportunities, including the potential to develop the filing engine as a standalone platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years building B2B products.
• Experience with payments, fintech, money movement, or high-volume operational systems.
• Systems-thinking skills and the ability to design for significant scale.
• Technical depth and comfort working closely with engineers on automation infrastructure.
• Strong product, business, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience experimenting with AI and building an AI-enabled application, workflow, or solution.
