Senior Product Designer (FinTech)

Location: United Kingdom; role described as US Remote or NYC

Early-stage fintech company building software that helps financial advisors manage and move client data reliably between existing systems.

What you will do

• Design complex, branching workflows shaped by rigid third-party data requirements.
• Make large, inconsistent datasets understandable and integrate them into the product.
• Protect existing user flows while introducing new functionality.
• Own design-system evolution and contribute to how design operates as the team grows.
• Work directly with the design lead and collaborate closely with product and engineering.

Requirements

• Experience designing complex workflows where constraints and edge cases are central.
• Experience working within external rules, compliance requirements, regulated processes, or third-party requirements.
• Demonstrated ownership of a design system.
• Comfort with ambiguity and an early-stage pace.
• Hands-on, collaborative approach with the ability to hold a position, disagree constructively, and commit.

Nice to have

• Experience with data-dense UX, including tables, bulk operations, and reconciliation.
• Technical fluency when working with engineers.
• Financial services or other regulated-domain knowledge.
• Enough front-end ability to prototype in code.
• Background in startups, fintech, B2B SaaS, insurance, healthcare, legal tech, tax, lending, or payroll.
