Vice President, Product Design (AI)

Location: United States; remote role

Salary: $200,000–$290,000 OTE annually + equity

What you will do

• Define the strategic vision for the product design function and align it with company objectives.
• Lead and scale a high-performing design organization while mentoring design leaders.
• Develop design strategies that improve user experience, innovation, and measurable business results.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, engineering, and marketing to integrate design into product development.
• Establish design KPIs and use data-driven insights to improve outcomes and processes.
• Scale a generative design system and identify tools and technologies that strengthen the company’s competitive position.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product design experience, including at least 10 years leading large design teams.
• Experience with SaaS or fintech platforms and customer-focused products at scale.
• Experience integrating AI and emerging technologies into organizational strategy and operations.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and design systems.
• Experience influencing product strategy and business growth with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to use design metrics and data-driven decision-making to improve outcomes.
