Global Senior EHS Professional (Environmental Health and Safety)

Location: Onsite five days a week in Morton, Illinois or Peoria, Illinois, United States. Required travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. Relocation assistance is available domestically. US work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead Global Services environmental health and safety strategy, initiatives, and performance across international sites.
• Implement the Safety Driven strategy, Human & Organizational Performance practices, EHS assurance standards, and serious injury and fatality risk reduction programs.
• Conduct site visits, risk assessments, needs analyses, audits, and corrective-action planning with operational and leadership teams.
• Coach and mentor operations leaders and EHS personnel while providing matrix leadership to site EHS, training, and laboratory teams.
• Lead environmental and sustainability initiatives, including waste, greenhouse gas, and water-use reduction supported by data analysis.
• Oversee environmental compliance activities, sustainability reporting, EPA submissions, hazardous materials processes, spill response, and related regulatory programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or 10+ years of product support or service operations experience.
• Knowledge of sustainability strategy, risk management, EHS policy compliance, problem solving, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with executives, operational teams, and EHS professionals across a global business.
• Strong decision-making, critical-thinking, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Must work onsite five days per week in Morton or Peoria, Illinois.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
