Product Applications Engineer (Laser Anneal)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; travel to the USA and other locations up to 30% of the time.

Salary: $94,910–$120,219 per year, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Develop applications and performance processes for laser anneal tools in collaboration with customers.
• Create and maintain best-known methods for process control, process development, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor laser anneal systems, hardware, and diagnostics to improve system performance.
• Investigate process issues and coordinate with service and engineering teams to drive solutions.
• Present product technologies to customers and sales channels, and provide technical training.
• Support equipment quality checks and instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering with at least 5 years of related experience; a master’s degree with 3 years or a PhD with 2 years is preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices and module processes; logic or memory fabrication experience is preferred.
• Understanding of Rapid Thermal Processing or implant processes is desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and self-motivation skills.
• Customer management experience is preferred.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills required.
