Senior Project Manager, US Wealth Management PMO

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; the work arrangement will be discussed during the interview. The position requires legal eligibility to work at the specified location.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually for the Chicago market, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Lead highly complex projects end to end, from initiation and requirements gathering through design, testing, implementation, and closure.
• Develop project scopes, plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, corrective actions, and project documentation.
• Provide status updates, executive presentations, steering committee materials, meeting minutes, and performance reports.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
• Support strategic programs, operational initiatives, performance measurement solutions, and continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience delivering complex projects, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, risk management, stakeholder management, and delivery practices.
• Leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to present complex matters to senior management.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; a college degree is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; legal eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• PMP or another project management certification; Agile certification is a plus.
