Global Banking & Markets Operations, Private Operations Project Manager, Vice President - New York

Location: New York, NY, United States; office-based role

Base salary: $100,000–$235,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead complex, strategic cross-divisional initiatives across product, design, engineering, front-to-back business, and operations teams.
• Connect project benefits and deliverables to program and firm strategy, shaping strategic direction and roadmaps.
• Manage project risks, issues, timelines, budgets, governance forums, and remediation activities.
• Work with product owners to refine demand backlogs and balance competing priorities.
• Define quality assurance and testing approaches, coach teams on testing practices, and develop post-testing migration strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in business analysis, project management, or program management, including finance industry experience.
• Strong end-to-end project management skills covering scope, planning, deliverables, risk and issue management, reporting, and delivery.
• Experience delivering results on time and within budget in cross-functional environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and influencing partners outside direct reporting lines.
• Leadership experience in empowerment, transparency, conflict resolution, and large-scale program delivery.

Nice to have

• Technology strategy, client service, business function, or management consulting experience.
• Knowledge of Global Banking & Markets and financial services operations.
• Experience with automated testing tools, JIRA, Confluence, OKR frameworks, or roadmaps.
• Working knowledge of using AI to improve efficiency in financial services.
