Field Application Specialist (São Paulo-SP)

Location: Remote from Brazil, with the role based in São Paulo/Capital and travel throughout Brazil

What you will do

• Deliver hands-on training and support correct, compliant use of Leica Biosystems equipment and products.
• Support customers with equipment validation, implementation, and optimization of staining protocols in anatomical pathology laboratories.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, investigate root causes, and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Field Service Engineering, Marketing, Regulatory and Quality Affairs, and Contracts and Tenders teams.
• Lead workflow optimization projects and analyze laboratory processes to recommend improvements.
• Travel 70–80% of the time, including overnight travel throughout Brazil.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biomedicine, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency required for international training and global team interactions.
• Experience providing technical support or training for laboratory equipment, workflow optimization, or process improvement.
• Multiple years of work or academic experience in laboratory environments involving anatomical pathology or cell biology.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid passport and USA visa required for international training.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Field Application Specialist or in a similar role for a healthcare or diagnostics company.
• Digital pathology experience.
• Spanish language proficiency.
