Senior Technical Support Engineer (Financial Systems)

Location: Lisbon, hybrid; candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve first-level incidents and support requests.
• Perform corrective maintenance to address system issues and maintain high availability.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, including unit tests, to validate system changes.
• Analyze and implement system evolution modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and performance.
• Document incidents, solutions, system changes, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in technical support or system maintenance within financial or enterprise systems.
• Understanding of financial systems, banking solutions, or related IT environments.
• Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, diagnostics, and problem resolution.
• Technical skills in system testing and maintenance.
• Communicative English and proficient French are required.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Certifications or experience in financial or enterprise system support.
• Experience with system automation or scripting.
• Knowledge of regulatory financial processes or compliance frameworks.
