Executive Protection Advance Agent

Location: New York, NY, United States. Work takes place in office and field environments, including domestic and international travel of up to 25%. Flexibility is required for early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, irregular shifts, and short-notice executive requirements.

Salary: USD 65,000–120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Conduct physical advances of residences, offices, venues, hotels, restaurants, airports, and other locations.
• Develop route analyses, security briefs, advance reports, trip books, evacuation plans, and risk-mitigation recommendations.
• Provide armed close protection, secure transportation, surveillance awareness, and discreet protective coverage for designated principals.
• Coordinate with executive protection leaders, security operations, venues, hotels, transport providers, law enforcement, and host-country contacts.
• Respond to medical emergencies, fires, evacuations, and security incidents while providing first aid, CPR/AED, and bleeding-control care.
• Maintain equipment, records, incident reports, after-action documentation, and mission readiness.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of executive, dignitary, or close-protection experience, including independent advance work in domestic and international environments.
• Recognized executive protection or protective operations training.
• Current unrestricted armed security license and concealed-carry authorization in New York State, or eligibility to obtain them before starting.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification; a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Valid passport, ability to travel internationally on short notice, and ability to obtain required visas.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent military, law-enforcement, or corporate-security experience; strong written communication, discretion, and confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Experience protecting C-suite executives, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, or government officials.
• Federal, state, or local law enforcement, military special operations, diplomatic security, or protective-service experience.
• Protective-security driving, surveillance detection, counter-surveillance, PSP or CPP certification.
• Experience in high-risk environments, residential security systems, technical security countermeasures, or GSOC operations.
• Working knowledge of a second language.
