Actuarial Coop Student - Winter Term 2027

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the Toronto office

Salary: CAD 37,000–59,000 per year, plus potential discretionary variable incentive plan

What you will do

• Support actuarial modelling, analysis, reporting, and related business activities.
• Use actuarial, spreadsheet, database, and reporting tools, including comprehensive financial modelling systems.
• Prepare, validate, analyze, document, and present data and results.
• Collaborate with Corporate Actuarial, Capital Management, Pricing, Risk, Investments, Finance, and IT teams.
• Contribute to projects supporting actuarial processes, business insights, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Entry-level actuarial student writing actuarial exams.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability for a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the Toronto office.

Nice to have

• Experience with AXIS, Datalink, Hyperion, or MicroStrategy.
