What you will do

• Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and EFT uploads while maintaining strict payment controls.
• Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Post fund accounting entries and support monthly reconciliations for wealth management accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and audit-ready supporting schedules for fund and corporate audit cycles.
• Document accounting processes and identify opportunities for workflow improvements in NetSuite.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment queries and discrepancies.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• BCom or BBA with an accounting major or equivalent degree.
• CPA PEP eligible with a confirmed academic prerequisite status.
• Must be motivated to complete the CPA designation as a condition of the role.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify numbers against source systems.
• Ability to follow through on deadlines and proactively flag anomalies.

Nice to have

• Previous co-op or work experience in AP or month-end close.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Exposure to fund accounting, financial services, or public company environments.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
