Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 CAD + bonus + equity.

What you will do
- Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and EFT uploads while maintaining strict payment controls.
- Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Post fund accounting entries and support monthly reconciliations for wealth management accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and audit-ready supporting schedules for fund and corporate audit cycles.
- Document accounting processes and identify opportunities for workflow improvements in NetSuite.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment queries and discrepancies.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada.
- BCom or BBA with an accounting major or equivalent degree.
- CPA PEP eligible with a confirmed academic prerequisite status.
- Must be motivated to complete the CPA designation as a condition of the role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify numbers against source systems.
- Ability to follow through on deadlines and proactively flag anomalies.
Nice to have
- Previous co-op or work experience in AP or month-end close.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Exposure to fund accounting, financial services, or public company environments.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
