Senior Technical Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; home office required within the U.S. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required, including CONUS and OCONUS travel. Office location: Columbia, Maryland, US.

Salary: $148,203–$230,000 per year.

What you will do

• Drive monthly sprint and quarterly release cadence across application, data, infrastructure, QA, and operations teams.
• Convert roadmap priorities into milestone-driven delivery plans, sprint-ready backlog items, acceptance criteria, and validation activities.
• Own end-to-end release management from code completion through integration testing, deployment, and go/no-go decisions.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, schedules, risks, blockers, budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and delivery metrics.
• Shepherd security scanning and RMF/ATO authorization artifacts while coordinating deployments across operating environments.
• Communicate release plans to government stakeholders, support customer demonstrations and proposals, and improve delivery and support processes.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance are required.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or equivalent in an Agile software delivery environment.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 12 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing complex, multi-team software programs, including dependencies, schedules, risk, cross-functional communication, and stakeholder alignment.
• Understanding of data lakes, data lakehouses, data warehousing, big data technologies, and Federal Government customer environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, communicate complex technical topics clearly, and travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8140/8570, program management, project management, or Agile certifications.
• Cybersecurity experience in areas such as SOC operations, cyber threat intelligence, network defense, or incident response.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS or Azure data services, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, container hardening, or vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with RMF/ATO authorization, TPM function development, customer-facing GovCon technology roles, financial management, or proposal development.
