Staff Technical Program Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Remote - United States. Remote work may be available in countries where Reddit has a physical presence.

Base salary: $194,600–$272,400 USD per year, plus potential equity and, depending on the role, commission.

What you will do

• Own and drive complex programs across Compute, Storage, Messaging, Transport, Core Platform, Ranking Platform, Security, and Compliance.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure migrations, tooling modernization, and platform evolution initiatives across more than 30 platform teams.
• Coordinate milestones, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across engineering and revenue-producing teams.
• Partner with engineering teams as a technical peer on Kubernetes orchestration, storage, messaging, ML serving, deployment pipelines, CDN, traffic management, and data platforms.
• Use AI and LLM-assisted tools to automate reporting, improve cost anomaly detection, accelerate analysis, and enhance program management workflows.
• Mentor program managers and improve repeatable processes that reduce organizational toil.

Requirements

• 8+ years of combined experience in engineering and technical program management roles.
• Strong technical depth in infrastructure, including Kubernetes, storage engines, Kafka, ML serving, deployment pipelines, CDN and traffic management, and data platform architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD systems, observability platforms, and container orchestration.
• Proven ability to drive long-term programs, large-scale cloud infrastructure migrations, and deprecations across complex dependency chains.
• Experience using observability and data platforms such as Grafana, BigQuery, Hex, Looker, or similar tools for cost reporting and alerting.
• Demonstrated use of AI or LLM tooling to improve program management workflows, reporting, or engineering productivity.
