Intelligent Transportation Systems Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Nationwide remote within the United States, with a preference for the Washington, DC metro area; onsite work is also possible at hirify.global offices in Washington, DC. The listed office location is Reston, Virginia.

Salary: $119,323.00–$202,850.00 per year

What you will do

• Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate intelligent transportation systems programs for transportation agencies.
• Oversee the execution and monitoring of ITS consulting projects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies for schedule, budget, and performance objectives.
• Standardize project management practices across the ITS team in accordance with PMBOK.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, agency, and federal requirements while building client and stakeholder relationships.
• Support proposals, business development, and program strategy for evolving transportation technologies and client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex transportation, technology, research, or related programs for government agencies.
• Knowledge or experience with ITS systems engineering, architecture, standards, automation, connectivity, data, cybersecurity, or emerging transportation technologies.
• Strong written, verbal, client management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work remotely from within the United States or from an hirify.global Washington, DC office.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.
• Multi-project and multidisciplinary management experience.
• Experience with vehicle automation and connectivity, transportation system operations, or emerging mobility planning, pilots, and deployment.
